After all these years this is still my favorite photo restaurant in San Francisco. I sometimes grab pho tai at another restaurant when they catch my eye, but they never measure up to this place. I always start with just eating the broth, while letting the soup cool down. So delicious

Bf and i both got the special combination. He got the large and I got the small. Overall generous portions and meat to noodle to broth ratio was perfect. We love coming here because their broth is so flavorful. The staff are very kind and this place always has a lot of people despite being located in the tenderloin. Love supporting mom and pop shops! Highly recommend to anyone wanting pho! They do take card but charge a 3.25% card fee.

Great casual pho place. Very speedy. Lots of seating once you walk past the front, there's more tables upstairs. You get tea for your table too so that's a pleasant surprise. Plenty of sauces at the table for you to create your own concoction. I realllllyyyyy enjoyed the cha gio. The meat itself was salty but balanced well when you added the lettuce, cucumber, and sauce. 100% getting that again. Pho was delicious too and tasted "clean". I got the large and the portion was more than enough. Meat was delish. I got the wide noodles (you have options here!!) and I loved having a wider noodle in my pho compared to regular pho. Soup was good too. Would come back when I'm craving Pho!

Delicious Vietnamese food in Little Saigon. Pretty small place but it has both downstair and upstair seating, and service is quick. The banh xeo (vegetarian) was delicious, so crispy and light and generous tofu portion. We ordered a regular sized pho AND a large sized pho, the large size was huge! The broth was pretty mild, and I wish that there was a bit more meat in each bowl. The toppings were all very fragrant and fresh, and the noodles were perfectly springy. I'd definitely come back, the portion sizes were pretty good for the price.

Pho 2000 is a hidden gem in San Francisco's Little Saigon district, known for its delicious and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Their pho broth is rich and flavorful, simmered for hours with a unique blend of spices. The restaurant also offers a variety of fresh ingredients to add to your pho, such as bean sprouts, lime wedges, and chilies. In addition to their pho, Pho 2000's imperial rolls are a must-try. These crispy rolls are filled with savory pork, shrimp, and vegetables, and come with a delicious dipping sauce. My friend is allergic to shrimp and they were kind enough to make a couple rolls without shrimp for us. If you're looking for a hearty and flavorful Vietnamese meal in San Francisco, Pho 2000 is a great option.

I don't normally venture into the tenderloin for food, but after being sick of mediocre pho everywhere else in SF I just had to check it out. Broth was deep and flavorful, I didn't have to add hoisin sauce. Meat was thin and tender. A large is less than 13 dollars!!! It was hands down the best pho I've had in the city (yes better than kevin's noodle house) and I would go again!

Came here with friends and got seated immediately! Good: - Really good pho and I got the shrimp paste noodles and enjoyed both - Good soup, and flavorful dishes - Imperial rolls were really great too, good crunch - Good ambiance for catching up, we had a nice upper floor seat Bad: - Hard to flag down waiters so the service was a bit slower - The place is a bit more janky since it's in the middle of the Tenderloin Overall this place was good for a cheaper fast meal, and liked the food enough to want to come again!

I grew up in the Bay Area, often hanging around the city, but I never knew there was a little Saigon in SF :o this little pho spot is in the middle of that. Came in for a weekday lunch, was quite busy already, but we were seated quickly upstairs. Service was super fast and straightforward. Love that We ordered a pho dac biet and a vermicelli bowl with egg rolls. The pho was flavorful, came with a large assortment of meats. The vermicelli bowl was really good too. Huge portions and the egg rolls were so crunchy and yummy. Overall, a solid small no frill Vietnamese place in the city. It's not in the nicest area however, and parking can be difficult if driving. Risk it for the food tho? LOL

This is my go-to neighborhood pho spot. No frills, just consistent food great for a rainy day. Be aware that the neighborhood is sketch, but not terrifying imo. When I want tasty pho at a good price, this is the place. I always preferred it to Turtle Tower, which had been the other local favorite. I like to sit in the lofted section upstairs so you can watch people come in while the giant pot of soup and bones boils away. The service is extremely quick even at rush times. The soup is complex and plentiful (you can choose from big or really big). As you'd expect, pho comes with a heap of greens and sprouts. The noodles are toothsome and my go-to is the steak, flank, and tendon. It's all priced really well, too. Tip my friend just taught me: you can get the rare beef on the side so it doesn't arrive cooked! Never even thought of this.
